As a veteran live TV director and content strategy specialist, Warren has led major broadcasts for news, sports, and entertainment, earning awards like the Gord Sinclair and Edward R. Murrow Awards.
Beginnings
A career that began in a small town local TV station, where he honed his skills at Cogeco Media and Access Communications. Starting as a videographer, director, and producer, quickly developing a passion for storytelling and live production. Eager to grow, he moved across Canada, working with top broadcasters and gaining invaluable experience in the fast-paced world of live television. Each step of the way, from local programming to national broadcasts, fueled his drive to innovate and excel in the media industry, ultimately leading to specialize in directing and virtual production.
Experience
A pioneer in virtual production since 2003, Warren has integrated cutting-edge technologies like ORAD, Pixotope, Vizrt, Axximetry, Unreal Engine, and into live broadcasts, setting new industry standards. His work at CHCH News, CP24 Toronto's Breaking News, and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty has reached millions, showcasing his ability to innovate and lead in high-pressure environments.
